The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced that the fire that broke out this morning (Friday) in the ceiling insulators of the Dhahran Mall “Dhahran Mall” has been extinguished, without causing any injuries, while the cooling and follow-up work continues.

And the Civil Defense tweeted via Twitter, saying: “Civil Defense teams put out the fire of the Dhahran Mall complex, while the cooling and follow-up work continued, and there were no injuries.” It is still continuing with the participation of security aviation and supporting agencies, without any injuries recorded so far.”

Social media users circulated video clips showing a thick cloud of smoke that covered the sky of Dhahran due to the fire, while supporting firefighting teams from several different sectors participated in the extinguishing operations until it was almost completely controlled.

News circulated from the site of the accident that the fire had spread to four gates of the complex, while the operations of extinguishing the fire witnessed the participation of vertical aircraft in fighting the fire.

The vicinity of the commercial complex witnessed a large spread of firefighting vehicles and water tankers from several support agencies, in addition to ambulances of the Red Crescent and the Ministry of Health and Civil Defense.
