That’s according to four separate decision summaries released Thursday.

The Marchand administration thus disbursed $85,500 for part of a lot with an area of 49.5 square meters, located on René-Lévesque Boulevard West, near the intersection with Holland Avenue.

A little further east, at the intersection of boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest and avenue Ernest-Gagnon, the Municipality got its hands on a 21.3 square meter strip of land for $77,300.

Also, in the Montcalm sector, not far from the intersection of René-Lévesque and Cartier Avenue, an amount of $13,900 was disbursed to acquire a lot of land of just 7.8 square meters.

Representative of the market

For each of the acquisitions, the City ensures that “the agreed price is representative of the current market, in addition to the amount granted for any damage or inconvenience”.

She adds “that in certain places, the widening of René-Lévesque Boulevard West must first be completed in order to ensure suitable service to buildings located near the tramway line and to promote fluid traffic”.
