According to information released in a page website of the town, the measure will enter into force within a month and a half, on August 3. It is designed for municipal employees, who will thus work four days a week, from Monday to Thursday. Of course, instead of 8 hours a day, there will be 10 hours dedicated to work.

Of course, there is the possibility of taking advantage or not of the new regulations.

The objective, say the authorities, is to meet the needs of customers from dawn until near dusk. Thus, more hours of service will be offered in the morning and in the followingnoon to the members of the community, the information specifies.

A different work week

With the new regulations in the Florida city of Davie, the total amount of employee hours is the same. What changes is the distribution throughout the week.

City offices will be open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm This includes City Hall, Community Services and Public Services Departments, Administrative Offices, and Customer Service.

Likewise, the fire and police departments will change their opening hours. But in case of any emergency, telephone attention is guaranteed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Both the parks and the different recreational facilities maintain their schedules. In order to maintain cleanliness and order, utility workers will continue to work every day of the week.
