Gustavo Vizcaino, CEO of the Administrative Service of Identification, Migration and Immigration (Saime) reported that Venezuelans with dual nationality must use the Venezuelan to be able to enter, stay and leave the country.
“According to article 7 of the Law on Nationality and Citizenship, Venezuelans who have another nationality must use Venezuelan nationality to enter, stay and leave the territory of the Republic,” Vizcaíno said on Instagram.
Vizcaíno assured that the person is obliged to have a valid Venezuelan passport if they wish to leave or enter Venezuelan territory.
“Despite having another nationality, they must identify themselves as such in all civil and political acts,” this is required by the laws of the country, he indicated in the audio published on the network.
