Citizen participation in French elections reaches 59.71%

Polling stations will close at 6:00 p.m. (16:00 GMT) in smaller towns, an hour later in medium-sized cities and at 8:00 p.m. (18:00 GMT) in larger cities.

At the final hour, several projections will be made public regarding the configuration of the next National Assembly, at the same time as the Ministry of the Interior will begin to disseminate the first provisional data.
