Cirque Chnopf stops its trailers in the Jura

Cirque Chnopf ends the month of July in the Jura. He makes a stop in the region to present his new show “Moment! “. The Zurich troupe has been performing in St-Ursanne since Wednesday and will still be in the medieval city for three other performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. She will then play her last piece at Lajoux on July 27, 29, 30 and 31.

On the menu: acrobatics, song, dance and music telling the story of several characters stopped, in the middle of nowhere, after their bus broke down. This new creation depicts the different ways of reacting to an unexpected situation. “We did a lot of research on the different reactions of people,” explains Sibill Urweider, musician and member of management of Cirque Chnopf. For this 32nd tour on Swiss roads, the troupe will perform as usual in the open air. According to Sibill Urweid, what changes compared to the traditional marquee “is that under a marquee, it makes no difference whether we play in St-Ursanne or in Zurich. Outdoors, you really take part in the place”.

On stage, eleven artists, aged 16 to 32, have a great time. Professionals rub shoulders with talented young artists and everyone works together. Aargau acrobat Demian Bucci is one of the company’s executives. “For young people who have a little less experience, it’s really a school”, explains the man whose mission is to accompany these young shoots on and off the stage. Demian Bucci does not forget to enjoy the adventure. “I find it incredible to take a tour of Switzerland. Even if I am Swiss, I do not necessarily know my country well, smiles the Argovian. We arrived in the Jura last week and I love it. »
