Circus Florida is hoping for many visitors in Ossenberg
Ossenberg The bright blue and yellow tent glittering on the large square on Kirchstrasse signals: the circus is in town. Circus Florida will be performing there from Friday, March 11th to Sunday, March 13th.
The show starts at 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
For two hours, ten artists and acrobats – the youngest member of the ensemble is ten years old – present numerous circus acts: from fire-eating to tightrope walking, from aerial acrobatics to clowning. “We also show what the big circuses offer,” promises Circus Florida boss Mike Lauenburger (47).
The program also includes performances with around 40 animals: camels, dromedaries, alpacas, llamas, donkeys, ponies and boa constrictors. There are also kangaroos.
Circus Florida is the Mannheim circus family Lauenburger/Kramer, artists and acrobats in the seventh generation and independent with Circus Florida for ten years. For the family, who were unable to open the ring for two years due to the corona pandemic, Ossenberg is the second stop following Geldern this year. He hopes that they will also be able to welcome many guests to the circus in Ossenberg. After all: “We can use the tent to the full once more,” says Laufenburger. 650 visitors can be seated under the dome. 3G and face masks are mandatory.
Tickets cost between 14 and 25 euros. Discount vouchers worth two euros are available in shops and schools.
