Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media circulated a video clip of statements made by Saad Al-Shathri, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and an advisor at the Royal Court, regarding what he said regarding Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

This came in an interview conducted by Al-Shathri on the Gulf Rotana channel, where he said: “Prince Muhammad has many leadership qualities, and among these qualities is his ability to communicate with everyone, including Sharia scholars, and his virtuous morals, and hearing what may be presented to him…”

Al-Shathri added that the above “makes people appreciate him (Mohammed bin Salman) and know his qualities. Communication is not the product of the hour, but the Saudi state from the beginning of its era, there was communication between scholars and the owners of the state..”
