During the last three weeks, the guilds of Cipolletti rthey exclaimed to the mayor Claudius DiTella to summon them to reopen the nparity negotiations. They argued that the salaries were out of date due to inflation, which makes a new distribution of the percentages necessary. This week a meeting will be held to work on the request of the unions, there is no definite date yet.

Inflation in May was 7.8% per month, just a few tenths below what was registered in April by INDEC. This generated a new internal debate between the municipal unions of Cipolletti ahead of the meeting that will be held this week with the mayor Claudio Di Tella for the parities.

“The inflationary reality that our country is going through causes the cost of living to increase constantly and significantly. Essential products and services become more expensive month following month, negatively impacting the purchasing power of workers,” said Sitramuci Cipolletti from.

The meeting will take place with a marked decision, the unions do not want another proposal that does not imply an improvement in the joint agreement signed in March. According to reports from ATE, they hope to be able to meet with the mayor of the city on June 22 or 23.

The guilds will show up to the meeting with a series of orders that they want to obtain. That is how ATEfor example, looks for an update that equates assets to inflation and Sitramuci seeks the immediate recovery of the purchasing power of salaries and the application of a trigger clause, in this way salaries would be updated every month without the need to meet.
