This weekend the Harvest Tournament was held on the Mendoza synthetic track. the athletes of cipolletti won several gold and silver medals in the sports village of Parque San Martín. They will prepare for the next national competitions.
Six members of the Cipolletti Running School traveled to Mendoza to represent and participate in the tournament organized by the UNCuyo Sports Department, the Provincial Undersecretary of Sports, the Mendoza Master Athletics Association (AMAM) and the Association Athletics Mendoza (AMA). The categories in which they competed were U14, U16, U18, U20, Majors and Masters.
Representing the city were Florencia Baszczuk y John Francis Guido in the 100 and 200 meter dash. Little Robanera in 200m, in addition to having been with Gabriel Bastias in 400m. Tiziano Buzelli in 800, also Bastías, and Brisa Trecanao in 1500 and 800 m.
Regarding the results, Gabriel Bastías got the gold medal in the 800 meters with a record of 2.05 and silver medal in the 400 meters with a record of 54.21. Also it was gold and silver for Brisa Trecanao in the 1500 and 800 meters respectively.
While Malena Robanera got first place in the 400 meters with a record of 1.00.58 and got second place in the 200 meters with a mark of 25.92.
In the case of Juan Francisco Vido, managed to qualify for the 100 meter final and lowered his personal best by 200 meters.
The next dates in which they will compete will be: April 1st in Rosario for the 53rd U20 National Championship, the May 5 and 7 in Entre Ríos for the South American Grand Prix, Andrés Calonje and Hugo Mario La Nasa, and the May 12also in Entre Ríos for the 103rd Senior National Championship.
