CINFOTEC-Huambo begins registration for first graduates – news

The Integrated Technological Training Center (CINFOTEC) in Huambo began, this Monday, the registration process for the entry of the first trainees in various areas, informed, yesterday, the director of the institution, Geraldo Pambassang

These are, in the first phase, courses on Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Control (in the area of ​​Metrology), Data Cabling Systems, IT from the User’s Perspective, Photography and Multimedia Editing (Information and Communication Technology), Electricity Basic, Automation of Production Lines, Hydraulics and Electro-hydraulics (Electricity, Renewable Energy and Mechatronics).

Initially, the courses include Coated Electrode Welding, Conventional Mechanical Turning and Mechanics for Diesel Engines (Mechanics and Production area).

Speaking to the press, the director of CINFOTEC-Huambo, Geraldo Pambassange, said that, in this first phase, the institution plans to make 450 places available, for more than 10 courses in the morning and followingnoon.

According to the person responsible, the institution will provide short (improvement), medium (qualification) and long-term technical courses, between three months and two years, completely innovative and highly complex.

He made it known that, to register, candidates must have at least a class equal to or higher than 10th, have two passport-sized photographs and a copy of their Identity Card.

Despite limited places, he said there is, for now, no date for the end of registrations, with the start of classes scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

Candidates In turn, Daniel Ngunza, 27 years old, enrolled in the Diesel Engine Mechanics course, was excited regarding the start of training, which will contribute to the improvement of his technical-professional skills.

António Francisco, 25 years old, enrolled in the Data Cabling System course, said it was an honor to be able to attend training at CINFOTEC-Huambo, with different aspects for the country’s technological growth.

Telma Coelho, representative of an industrial company, said that these are training areas of high interest at an individual and collective level, as they are difficult to find a professional during the worker recruitment process.

Affected by the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS), CINFOTEC-Huambo, already properly equipped with high technology, when fully operational, will house 1,472 students, in two periods, in the areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Electricity and Mechatronics, Metrology, Mechanics and Production.

The infrastructure, with a built area of ​​6 million 531 thousand e17 square meters, will have more than 30 laboratories and six workshops available, including a 132-seat auditorium, two meeting rooms, a multipurpose court and an agricultural machinery workshop, industrial production line, robotics and administrative support areas CINFOTEC in Huambo, the largest and most modern in the country, will be the third, following Talatona, opened in 2008, and Rangel, in 2017, both in the province of Luanda.
