Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber stole the spotlight during the Paris “Off White” fashion show

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — The “Off-White” fall-winter 2022 show sparkled with its new collection and featured models such as Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Serena Williams, Karlie Kloss, Naomi Campbell and Joan Smalls. .

But there was another sneak peek that grabbed the spotlight: Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber’s rare look at the same runway.

The mother and daughter wore the latest chic off-white collections, designed by late founder Virgil Abloh, and wowed the audience at the opening day of Paris Fashion Week.

Crawford wore an earthy pink, multi-layered tulle skirt, topped with a graphic cropped jacket. Gerber wore a tank top with a loose, puffy mini skirt at the waist, and high-heeled sandals.

The show, called “Spaceship Earth”, showed models walking inside a large white square, inside the Palais Brongniart, with a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling on the floor of the room. The almost monolithic home décor garnered the idea for “2001: A Space Odyssey.”

However, fashion didn’t reflect a specific theme, but rather aligned with the vision of the brands that Apollo has created in the last ten years, since his company’s founding. Plenty of tiered, cut-out tulle dresses and skirts like those worn by Crawford are seen, while sharp-eared hats and designer track jackets append: quotes in double quotes.

Jenner wore a sparkly mini dress emblazoned with the words “Little Black Dress” as two models stood on the runway with two flags emblazoned with “Ask Everything.”

It was also learned that the two companies that own the “Off White” brand, “LVMH” and “New Guards Group” hope to continue implementing Apollo’s vision, in parallel with the development of the brand to become their business worth billions of dollars. The late designer had a passionate and curious view of beauty, but was deeply involved in popular culture, which helped the brand gain public interest through a consortium of friends and famous faces.
