In a thrilling turn of events, just a day after five high school volleyball teams from Cincinnati triumphed by qualifying for the prestigious 2024 state tournament, the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association unveiled the highly anticipated all-state teams, shining a spotlight on exceptional talent.
This year’s roster is distinguished by numerous talented past honorees, but with the exciting expansion of the sport from four divisions to seven, a fresh wave of athletes earned All-Ohio honors for the very first time, marking a significant milestone in their athletic careers. In total, an impressive cohort of 21 athletes from 13 different schools in the Cincinnati area received this esteemed recognition.

Coaching awards
Seton head coach Kelly Crowley was honored as the Division I Coach of the year for the first time in her career. Under her leadership, the Saints have achieved an impressive record of 24-2 and celebrated a noteworthy victory over Mason in Saturday’s intense regional final, securing their first trip to the state tournament since 2005.
Taylor head coach Chelsea Miller was recognized with the Coaching Achievement Award in Division IV. She successfully guided the Yellowjackets to an outstanding 20-0 regular season, a remarkable feat during which they only lost two sets. Her team also clinched their second consecutive Cincinnati Hills League title.
Summit Country Day head coach Karen Hess received the Coaching Achievement Award in Division V. This year, the Silver Knights closed their season with a record of 17-8, successfully advancing to the district finals and demonstrating their competitive strength throughout the season.
