“Cincinnati Bengals Season Review: A Strong Comeback But Denied the Big Hit”

It’s time for a new week and with it a new season review.
Today we come to a team that had a very good season following having a relatively difficult time at the beginning. However, this team was denied the really big hit.

Welcome to the Cincinnati Bengals Season Recap.
After the narrow defeat in last year’s Super Bowl once morest the Rams, the Orange Blacks struggled at the beginning. There was a loss once morest Pittsburgh in which quarterback Joe Burrow threw 4 INT. The cowboys also lost. This was followed by victories with the Jets and once morest the Dolphins. There was a narrow defeat in bosimore, followed by wins in New Orleans and once morest Atlanta. On Halloween of all days, the Cincinnati Bengals then offered a creepily poor performance. The 2021 AFC Champion put on a disastrous performance in the 32-13 loss to the Browns.

But this defeat also had its good side, for it was a kind of salutary shock. They won once morest the Panthers before the break, so they went into bye week with five and four. Then followed a streak of wins in Pittsburgh, Tennessee, once morest the Chiefs, once morest the Browns in Tampa Bay and in New England. The Bengals might even have gotten No. 1 in the AFC. The team also led once morest the Buffalo Bills in Week 17.

Then, however, the horrifying scene involving Damar Hamlin happened (mind I’ll go into that a bit more in the Buffalo Bills season recap). The Chiefs’ #1 position in the AFC was basically played into the hands of the NFL’s somewhat odd handling of the whole story. In week 18, the team beat the Ravens and also knocked out the rival in the playoffs a week later. At least following an outstanding performance once morest Buffalo in the divisional round, Cincinnati looked like a real title contender. The AFC Championship Game once morest the Chiefs then becomes a drama. An unnecessary penalty from DE Joseph Ossai puts Kansas City on the winning field goal just before the end. Ossai weeps bitter tears.

Surprise: WR Trenton Irwin never give up. He’s been released off and on by the Cincinnati Bengals for the past few years, and he’s always fought back. This is also the case this season, where he finally made it onto the roster and contributed four touchdowns there.

Disappointment: Lael Collins was brought in to protect Joe Burrow. It only worked to a limited extent, the quarterback was sacked 41 times. Only five quarterbacks did that more often.

How were the rookies?
Safety Daxton Hill hatte 9 Tackles
CB Cam Taylor Britte fumbled forced.
DT Zachary Carter had half a sack.
OT Cordell Volson has yet to improve.
Safety Tycen Anderson missed the season due to injury.
DE Jeffrey Gunter was only used a little.
That was good: the Cincinnati team is strong on the third try. third place The passing game in general is also very decent with 5th place, and you also allow the five fewest points.

That was bad: it may sound a little strange given the strength of the third try, but the Cincinnati Bengals can’t do the fourth try at all. No team is worse in this category. The Bengals only got 30 sacks. This is the worst value of all AFC teams. No player got more than two interceptions and their own running game is too weak with place 29.

What should you do? Although the Cincinnati Bengals have had two good years in a row, there is definitely room for improvement. Something should be done regarding the running game and finally making sure that Joe Burrow has a better oline. Then the big hit might soon succeed.
