“Cigarette Butt Fire Causes Panic: The Truth Behind Charleroi Building Fire”

Firefighters from the Hainaut-Est rescue zone were called on Monday for a building fire, place Rucloux in Charleroi. On the spot, the men of the fire note that no building is burned. Shortly before 6 p.m., seven emergency vehicles were there, including an ambulance.

Because of a cigarette butt!

Firefighters entered the building in question. But their arrival is in fact due to a cigarette butt, which fell into a ventilator. In contact with the leaves, the fire caught, confirms a firefighter on the spot. The men of the fire quickly left. More fear than harm then!
