***Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) arrested a man for his alleged responsibility in the murder of a teenager. The detainee stabbed a 15-year-old boy, apparently out of revenge, in the town of Achaguas, in Apure.***
The suspect was identified as Wilfredo Silva, 21, alias “Coqui”, the alleged murderer of Juan Manuel Colina Carrillo, 15. The incident occurred on Bolívar Avenue, in Achaguas, on July 7, reported the director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, on his social networks.
The police chief explained that, days ago, the young man, along with other men, brutally beat Silva. After that fight, the victim threatened to kill the minor.
After several days, Colina was outside a nightclub located in the aforementioned town of Apure, when he had another altercation with Silva.
He took advantage of the fact that the teenager was alone and pulled out a knife and pounced on him, inflicting multiple wounds, which caused his death minutes later. “El Coqui” was preparing to travel to the town of Apurito, to wait for a transport that would take him to Colombia.
