Church rave: The castle church becomes a party room – Bad Dürkheim – THE RHEINPFALZ

If only Martin Luther and Jean Calvin knew that! Next Saturday, October 12th, from 7 p.m., the venerable castle church in Bad Dürkheim will be transformed into a pulsating party room in which clouds of fog drift through the vaults and colorful lights flash to the beat of the music. The occasion is a “church rave” organized by the Protestant youth center in cooperation with the Protestant church community.

“Whether you want to hear the latest beats or just party with friends – the ‘Church Club’ offers something for everyone,” promise the organizers. “DJ Matz-Up” and “Die Stereo-Typen” will be playing. There is also the opportunity for guests to actively shape the musical program: With a Spotify playlist, you can bring in your favorite songs and thus help shape the soundtrack of the evening, according to the announcement.

The minimum entry age is 14 years. Drinks and snacks are offered at affordable prices, it is said. Admission is from 6 p.m. Tickets (5 euros) can be purchased at www.jesaja.org/event/curch-club-rave-in-der-kirche-2024 downloaded or purchased from the Evangelical Youth Center, the parish, the Bad Dürkheim-Grünstadt deanery and the multi-generational house.
