The summer soap opera is over after an unexpected turn in its last episode.

The captain and winger of Ñublense, Jovany Campusano, decided to continue in the Chillaneja store, despite having almost sealed an agreement with Deportes Iquique, the club where he would be presented this week.

“The Campusano thing fell apart,” Iquique media reported, while the player gave no signs about his future.

However, yesterday, the left-hander from La Serena was presented on the club’s social networks, in which he thanked the fans of the “red devils” of Chillán for the permanent support.

This will be Jovany Campusano’s fourth season in Ñublense, becoming one of the leaders of the red dressing room.

Two players who should be introduced in the coming days are Audax Italiano defenders Carlos Labrín and Osvaldo Bosso.

Coach Mario Salas is also looking for a new striker to enhance his offensive structure.

Joaquín Larrivey’s option was cooled because he has one year on his contract and the value of his loan or sale of the pass would be very high for the owners of the Chilanejo club.

In any case, it is expected that a couple of reinforcements will join next week to face the friendly duels.
