Christos Milas at the “P” conference: “Calendar of events, baskets of local products” – 2024-07-02 15:40:55

The president of the native KAE, Christos Milos, spoke about the huge economic footprint of Prometheus in our region, speaking yesterday at the conference organized by the newspaper “Peloponnisos” on the topic “The contribution of sports to the local economy”.
“Sports organizations must try to create sports events in our region with a broader spirit,” said Christos Milos and added: “A sports organization must have three basic things: Recognition-reputation, facilities and specialized human resources. We as Prometheus have developed recognition, with our Men’s team competing at the highest level in Greece and Europe. At the same time, we are also known abroad for our facilities, as we have created one of the best sports centers in Europe, which together with the complex with “Tofalos” creates a high-level result. In terms of human resources, knowing that it is difficult in the region to find ready-made people, we managed to create such people, who advance and develop with us”.
Christos Milos also mentioned the infrastructure tournaments that Prometheus organizes at Christmas and Easter, where academies from all over the country come to Patras for three days, as well as the Panhellenic championships and the Rising Stars that our city hosts through its participation association, etc. And he concluded: “We want the agencies to help us go one step further. Let these people who come to our places get to know our region, have baskets of local products, etc. and put together a calendar so that one sport does not fall on top of the other. Can Patra become a meeting place for people, lobbying in a sporting sense”.
Christos Milas was accompanied by KAE executives Dimitris Dendis and Petros Kremmidas.
