Vienna (OTS/RK) – During the ORF’s traditional Christmas broadcast on December 24th, the television audience is given a Christmas atmosphere with Christmas trees. The 35 trees are being made available to the “Light in the Dark” campaign by the City of Vienna’s forestry and agricultural company.
Trees grown naturally
Since no long transport routes have to be covered, these trees stay fresh and green for a long time. The natural trees are optimally integrated into the ecological cycle and thus protect the environment. As Christmas tree crops, they provide habitat for many wild animals. “The trees were grown under the best conditions and are ideal for preserving the Christmas magic this year,” says Climate City Councilor Jürgen Czernohorszky.
