**David Ikegami:** thank you for having me. It’s certainly an exciting time in Little Tokyo!



**Archyde:** Absolutely! Your community hosted a wonderful holiday party on December 9th, complete with Shogun Santa adn a vibrant parade of costumed characters.Can you tell us a bit about the inspiration behind this unique event?



**David Ikegami:** We wanted to create a truly special experience that reflects the diverse cultural fabric of Little Tokyo while embracing the holiday season. Shogun Santa, a cherished tradition in our community, brings a unique twist to the classic Santa Claus figure, showcasing our japanese heritage.





**Archyde:** And the parade,with its colourful characters! It certainly attracted a large crowd.



**David Ikegami:** Yes! We aimed to create a spectacle that would appeal to people of all ages, both locals and visitors. The characters added a playful and interactive element, making the event truly memorable.



**Archyde:** The photographs from the event show a strong community spirit, with residents and even local law enforcement officers sharing in the festivities.
