Christina Aguilera spoke in an interview regarding the end of Britney Spears’ guardianship and pledged her support.

Christina Aguilera (41) hat in an interview showed her support for colleague Britney Spears, 40, who has been out of guardianship since November. “I’m very happy for them,” she said on the “Enrique Santos Show”. “Every woman deserves to feel empowered and empowered to do whatever is right for her.”

Aguilera went on to say that growing up in this business was “incredibly insane.” “If anyone understands that, it’s definitely her and me.” Spears and Aguilera performed together as children in the “Mickey Mouse Club” and started their singing careers separately in the late 90s. “I’ll always be there for her,” said Aguilera, who was open to reaching out to Spears. “It is very important for us women, now more than ever, that we have the opportunity to connect and that we always feel united.” The singer also stressed that she’s always wanted to be “light-hearted” on the issue of Spears’ guardianship. “I never want to speak inappropriately regarding someone I have so much respect and admiration for.”

Criticism of Christina Aguilera

After Aguilera tweeted a statement supporting Spears’ fight once morest guardianship in June 2021, she has remained reticent in the months that followed. Britney Spears even criticized this. In an Instagram Story in November 2021, the singer shared a clip of Aguilera being asked by a reporter if she had been in contact with Spears since guardianship ended.

She then looks at her speaker, who pulls her away with the words “no, we won’t do that tonight – I’m sorry”. Aguilera says: “But I’m happy for her.” Spears bluntly commented on the clip: “I love and adore everyone who has supported me…but refusing to speak when you know the truth is tantamount to lying!”

Since November 2021, Britney Spears has been able to control her life and finances once more. The guardianship of the US pop star was lifted following 13 years.
