(Motorsport-Total.com) – Christian Engelhart (Team Joos by Racemotion) secured pole position for the tenth race of the ADAC GT Masters season on Sunday morning. With his Porsche 911 GT3 R, the man from Starnberg needed 1:28.432 minutes for his fastest lap around the 4.318 kilometer long Red Bull Ring. Lamborghini works driver Marco Mapelli (I/GRT Grasser Racing Team) came in second.
Christian Engelhardt will start from pole on Sunday
Under the cloudy sky in Styria and temperatures of twelve degrees Celsius, the international drivers of the ADAC GT Masters fought an open battle for first place. Mercedes-AMG driver Elias Seppänen (FIN/Landgraf Motorsport) completed the top five. The ADAC GT Masters championship leader was 0.719 seconds behind the pole-sitter.
Sport1 will broadcast the tenth round of the season of the traditional ADAC GT series live in full length on free TV on Sunday followingnoon from 3 p.m. The race will also run parallel on the free YouTube channel @adacmotorsports.
