Early this Saturday, September 17, some alleged extortionists threw and detonated an explosive device at the home of the parents of Christian Cuevasoccer player of the Peruvian National Team, in Trujillo.

According to regional information, it happened around 1:00 in the morning following some unknown persons arrived in a vehicle to the building located in the Primavera urbanization, owned by the family of the national flyer.
It is at that moment that they threw an explosive device, it was not specified if it was dynamite or another. Upon hearing the detonation of the same, neighbors called the police. Trujillo Explosives Disposal Unit (Udex) and staff of the El Wire police station.
According to recorded images, it was evident that the explosive device detonated and left traces scattered on the pavement. A cord of green synthetic material with a slow burnt fuse was observed.
The police version details that this piece of material was made up of fine-grained black powder remains inside. Also, the connector was activated by a spark.
It was also reported that the property suffered material damage. Police specified that everything would be an extortion issue.
