Christa Rigozzi returned to social media on Tuesday after a few days of radio silence. She posted a reel on Insta in which she told her over 53,000 followers that “something bad” had happened. Her family is fine, but what happened affected her, her children and her husband. The ex-Miss Switzerland did not want to reveal what exactly it was.
In the post, Rigozzi further stated that she needed a break “to process and digest the whole thing.” Now she has to protect her family and herself. It will therefore remain offline for some time.
What happened should not remain secret for long
“At some point I’ll tell you,” promised the 40-year-old. In the meantime, she said thank you for the many warm messages she received.
At New Year’s Day, Christa spent a vacation in Zermatt with her husband Giovanni Marchese (39) and the twins Allisa and Zoe (6). It remains unclear whether the family is now back home in Monte Carasso, a district of the municipality of Bellinzona.
