Florent Pagny makes many revelations in his book “Pagny par Florent”, including his relationship with Vanessa Paradis at the end of the 1980s. The artist claims that she did not hesitate to approach him despite their difference of age at the time. It was in 1989 that Vanessa took the first step while they were at a festival in Haute-Savoie.
“After the collective dinner, I decide to return to my room and take my leave. In the middle of the night, I take a few steps in the snow when I hear: ‘Florent!'” he writes in his book. “A voice that trembles with cold, because she came out following me without taking the time to cover herself. I had felt that there was something wrong in the evening and I did not know what.”
According to Florent, Vanessa then started running towards him.
“She jumps on me, she kisses me” continues Florent. “She was in love. A sixteen-year-old lover. Passionate and cute. Vanessa was happy, she was shouting it from the rooftops. As for me, I took all her nightmares and made dreams of them. Suddenly , she started smiling, she communicated, she opened up and she ripped it all up.”
