Cho Hye-rim, second hole-in-one in her career… ‘Pure Gold Golden Ball’ injury
Hyerim Cho caught the second hole-in-one of her career and got the luck of the ‘Golden Ball’.
On the 15th, Hyerim Cho competed in the 3rd round of the Korea Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour 2022 Dongbu Construction/Korea Land Trust Championship (total prize money of 1 billion won) held at Iksan CC (par 72) in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do, at the 16th hole (par 3, 144 yards). Recorded a hole-in-one.
In this hole, a golden ball made of 600 grams of pure gold worth 50 million won is hung as an injury. Hyerim Jo is the first hole-in-one in her second year this year, and she was lucky to win the Golden Ball by recording the first hole-in-one in her career.
Hyerim Jo was lucky to get injuries on both of her two hole-in-ones on the KLPGA regular tour. In the hole-in-one recorded in the second round of the 9th E1 Charity Open on the KLPGA Tour last year, he received the Ioniq 5 long-range exclusive vehicle as an injury.
Hyerim Jo’s hole-in-one is the 30th KLPGA Tour season and the most hole-in-one in history. The previous record was 28 in 2017.
