Chinta has been staying at the resort for two years, with a minimum daily rent of Rs 6490; Controversy, complaint

Kollam ∙ After the high salary, mentions in the research paper etc., there is another controversy over the state youth commission chairperson Chinta Jerome. For nearly two years, Chinta has been living in a coastal resort in Kollam, a new controversy. Youth Congress state secretary Vishnu Sunil filed a complaint with Pandalam vigilance demanding an investigation.

In the complaint, the Youth Congress pointed out that for a 3-bedroom apartment, which fetches up to Rs.8500 per day during the season, the daily rent is Rs.5500 and Rs.6490 per day including 18% GST. 38 lakh rupees should be given to the resort for one to three quarter years. It should be investigated from where this amount was paid – demanded in the complaint.

Chinta Jerome said that he stayed in the resort’s 3-bedroom apartment for his mother’s Ayurvedic treatment. After the treatment, he shifted to his own house a few months ago.
