The 21-year-old Zhang Linyan is a striker. She plays for the Wuhan Chegujiang University Women’s Football Team in the Women’s Super League this season. She scored 6 goals in the first 10 rounds of the season, ranking second in the local scorer list. As a representative player of the new generation of Chinese women’s football, Zhang Linyan has represented the national team seven times so far. In the Asian Cup final held at the beginning of this year, Zhang Linyan, who came off the bench, performed amazingly, scoring her first goal in the national team and helping the Chinese women’s enough to reverse the victory over the South Korean team 3:2.
