It became known that the large frame SUV Tank 500 has already begun to arrive at dealers in Russia. This is the second model of this manufacturer, presented on the Russian market. Edition “Auto news of the day” claims that in some car dealerships it is already possible to choose a car from the availability and even book it.
As of yesterday, April 5, dealers in Voronezh, St. Petersburg, Togliatti, Yekaterinburg and Kemerovo have received or are expecting new Tank 500s. It has been established for certain that two car carriers with these vehicles have already arrived in Togliatti, for example.
Some dealers in a conversation with journalists claim that the Tank 500 cannot be bought yet. It is allowed to book the car you like and make a deal. But it will be possible to pick up your copy no earlier than April 12, when the acceptance of orders for models will officially open.
Most SUVs from the first batch are presented in the top-end Premium package, the cost of each car, including VAT, is 5,699,000 rubles. At some dealers, they cost a little more – 5,749,000 rubles, but buyers will be allowed to get a car loan with a comprehensive insurance policy, as well as trade-in their current car.
The Tank 500 for the Russian market is currently presented only with a single 3.0-liter V6 biturbo petrol engine, which is specially derated for the Russian market from 360 to 299 hp, leaving 500 Nm of torque. This motor will work in conjunction with a nine-speed “automatic”, an all-wheel drive system with a connected front axle, as well as a rear axle differential lock.
As for the younger Tank 300, it has been on sale in Russia since March 15 in two trim levels with a single 220 hp 2.0-liter gasoline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. This option will be available at a price of 3,699,000 rubles.
