The Chinese company, OnePlus, the smart phone manufacturer, officially launched its new phone, “Ace”, today, Thursday, as its latest release for the budget-friendly middle class that offers real value in terms of specifications and performance for an acceptable price, targeting young people in the first place.
The phone is the first model in the “Ace” series of the Chinese brand.
The phone – dual SIM (Nano) – runs on the “Android 12” operating system right out of the box, along with the company’s traditional interface, “ColorOS 12.1”.
The OnePlus Ace features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of “FHD+” (1080 x 2412 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a dynamic refresh rate of 120 Hz, with a peak brightness of 950 nits, And a protection layer of “5 Corning Gorilla Glass”.
The new phone is powered by a powerful processor in this category, as it comes with a “MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max” chip, which is available along with a graphics chip dedicated to games only.
The processor works with random access memory (RAM) up to 12 GB with the “LPDDR5” architecture, and a maximum storage capacity of 512 GB of “UFS 3.1”.
The phone’s connectivity options include support for the fifth generation (5G) and fourth generation networks (4G or LTE), “Wi-Fi 6”, “Bluetooth v5.2”, “GPS / A-GPS”, “NFC” and a “USB” port from Type “C”.
The phone’s sensors include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The phone contains a 4,500 mAh dual-cell battery that supports OnePlus’ fast charging support, known as “Super Flash Charge”, with a power of 150 watts.
The phone weighs regarding 186 grams.
For photography, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a primary sensor from Sony, and comes in a 50-megapixel IMX766, with an f / 1.88 lens slot that supports optical image stabilization (OIS).

OnePlus has officially launched the new Ace phone in China, in four different versions of RAM and storage.
The first version (8 RAM + 128 GB storage) comes at a price of CNY 2,499 ($387), and the second version (8 RAM + 256 GB) comes at CNY 2,699 ($418).
As for the third version of the new phone (12 RAM + 256), it comes at a price of 2,999 Chinese yuan (regarding 465 dollars), while the fourth version (12 RAM + 512 GB) comes at a price of 3,499 Chinese yuan (542 dollars).
The phone is available in black and blue colors, and it will go on sale in China from April 26, to be launched in other global markets at a later time.
