Chinese mobile app Tik Tok and WeChat have been completely banned, the statement issued by the US President

American media has claimed that President Trump will impose a complete ban on mobile applications owned by Chinese companies after two days.

The Trump administration has decided to ban video sharing and messaging mobile applications TikTok and WeChat from Sunday.

After the ban, both apps will not be able to be downloaded in the US and the service will be completely shut down. The ban on TikTok and WeChat was also recommended by national security and data privacy experts.

In a statement released by the US Department of Economics on Friday, it has been stated that the number of users using these two apps in the US is more than 10 million, but now is the time to end their spying.

The statement said that ‘both apps will be completely banned in the US from the night of Sunday, August 20, while both of them will be removed from Google’s Play Store and Apple’s iOS Store’.

It has also been reported that US citizens and companies will be allowed to use both services in China and transact if they wish.

It may be recalled that the American technology company Oracle had offered Tik Tok to run the operations under which the Chinese company had to sell its shares and make it a partner.

Tik Tok rejected this offer from Oracle Company and bluntly stated that they will not enter into any agreement regarding their policy and quality.
