On August 16, athletes from the Chinese National Men’s Beach Soccer Team arrived in our city one after another for the 2024 China Football Association “Belt and Road” Cup International Beach Soccer Invitational Tournament.
In order to actively prepare for the 2025 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, the Chinese National Men’s Beach Soccer Team held the first training session of 2024 in our city from August 16 to 26, and participated in the 2024 China Football Association “Belt and Road” Cup International Beach Soccer Invitational Tournament. A total of 16 players were selected for this national team, and two beach soccer players from our city, Wang Yu and Zhu Xingyu, were on the list.
The 2024 China Football Association “Belt and Road” Cup International Beach Soccer Invitational Tournament will be held at the Wuhai Lake Beach Soccer Stadium in our city from August 23 to 25. This event aims to further promote beach soccer through an international sports exchange platform, and at the same time, with the influence of this international event, actively promote the cultural tourism brand of “Seeing the Sea in the Desert·Wuhai, China” to the world and promote the integrated development of sports + cultural tourism.
