A Chinese investment company has announced to establish textile parks in Pakistan. A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s House on Friday said that the Chinese investment company RUYI will invite more or less 100 Chinese textile firms to invest by establishing textile parks across the country.
According to the British news agency, the construction of the first textile park will begin this year and it will be completed in three years.
These textile parks will be able to export products worth 2 billion dollars in the first phase. In the second phase, products worth 5 billion dollars will be exported.
According to the statement of the Prime Minister House, the most welcome thing is that the investment of China and the establishment of textile parks will create 3 to 5 lakh job opportunities at the local level.
