The Chinese Football Association stipulates that in the 2022 Chinese Super League and Chinese League One, each participating club should keep at least one U23 player on the court in each game. The “Notice” stated that if a Chinese Super League or Chinese League One club is recruited by the U21 and U19 national men’s football teams in total, and the player has signed up for the first team of the relevant club and has actual appearance records, the relevant club may not implement the U23 during the player recruitment period. Player appearance policy. If a Chinese Super League or Chinese League One club is recruited by the above-mentioned two national-brand teams with two or more players in total, and the players are registered in the first team, the relevant club may not implement the U23 player appearance policy during the player recruitment period.

In the 2022 China League Two, participating clubs should keep at least one U21 player on the court in each game. If a Chinese League Two clubs have one or two or more players recruited by the above-mentioned two national-brand teams, they will also enjoy the U21 player appearance policy reduction and exemption in accordance with the same policy standards as the Chinese Super League and Chinese League One.

In addition, the “Notice” stated that if the Chinese Super League, Chinese League One and Chinese League Two clubs are recruited by the U21 or U19 men’s national football team, during the player recruitment period, the total number of applicants for the league and FA Cup of the relevant clubs can be increased accordingly. If a player is injured during the recruitment period, the player can return to the club following being checked by the national team doctor and reported to the Chinese Football Association for approval.

After the player recruitment period ends, clubs will no longer enjoy the reduction or exemption of the appearance policy.

The Chinese Football Association recently announced that the Chinese U19 and U21 men’s football teams will depart for Europe on July 16 and August 5, respectively, to prepare for the 2023 U20 Asian Cup qualifiers and the 2024 Paris Olympic qualifiers.
