Xiamen News (Xiamen Daily reporter Lu Pengyu) The 2024 “Guomao Real Estate Cup” ITF International Women’s Tennis Tour Xiamen Station was recently concluded at the tennis court of the Municipal Sports Center. After 8 days of competition, the Chinese combination Zhang Ying/Huang Yujia and Lu Jingjing/Xun Fangying won the doubles championship and runner-up respectively, while Indonesian player Prishika and Chinese player Tang Qianhui won the singles championship and runner-up trophies respectively.
This year is the third time Xiamen has hosted this event since 2018. The ITF International Women’s Tennis Tour is an International Tennis Federation (ITF) tour for professional female tennis players aged 14 and above. It is a professional international event with high standards, many participating associations and wide influence. It is highly sought after by many professional tennis players because of its ITF points and rankings.
After the game, Prishka, who won the women’s singles championship, said that the tennis atmosphere in Xiamen is very good and she is very happy to compete here. She hopes to have the opportunity to participate in Xiamen again. Tang Qianhui, the runner-up in women’s singles, currently holds three WTA doubles championships. She said: “I came to Xiamen to compete in 2019. I didn’t grasp the key points in the final this time, which left a little regret. Zheng Qinwen’s Olympic championship will surely inspire more people to participate in tennis, and the future of Chinese tennis will get better and better.”
