Hangzhou Asiad medals table: China is soaring and the Arabs are shy in their presence

The competitions of the fourth day of the Asian Games witnessed a large number of athletes winning more medals in various sports, and as usual, Chinese athletes won the most compared to other participating athletes.

China strengthened its lead in the medal table in the Asian Games held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, as it raised its tally to 95 medals, taking first place without competition from anyone. The medals came as follows (53 gold medals, 29 silver medals, 13 bronze medals).

In second place, South Korea comes with 49 medals so far (14 gold medals, 16 silver medals, 19 bronze medals), while Japan ranks third with 47 medals (8 gold medals, 20 silver medals, 19 bronze medals).

As for fourth place, Uzbekistan currently holds 22 medals (5 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 11 bronze medals), while Hong Kong occupies fifth place with 19 medals (5 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 10 bronze medals).

On the Arab level, the participating athletes have so far won 8 medals (one gold medal, one silver medal, and 6 bronze medals), which is considered a shy start for Arab athletes with only 8 medals out of 331 medals distributed so far, which means that only 2% of Medals won by Arab athletes.

The UAE leads the Arab countries that have won medals so far, with one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals, while Jordan, Lebanon, and Kuwait have each achieved one bronze medal. There are many competitions in the coming days, and therefore the number of medals achieved may rise.
