Beijing: Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu’s six-day visit to Russia and Belarus began on Monday. The Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman said that the visit was at the invitation of the Defense Ministers of both countries.
Shangfu first went to Russia to attend the 11th Moscow Conference on International Security. From there it will go to Belarus.
China-Russia relations have been very cordial lately. China is a country that does not blame Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to visit China in October. Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Russia in March.
