Chinese automaker Xpeng announces launch of two new electric cars in Europe

The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng continues with its expansion plan in Europe and has announced the launch of two 100% electrified vehicles in the old continent, which will be presented on the 3rd of February.

On its official Twitter profile, Xpeng released a photo that shows an SUV and what appears to be a sedan sharing the same front light signature, characterized by a thin LED strip that runs across the entire front of the vehicle.

Xpeng has not provided any other clues as to what these two new cars will be. However, the SUV appears to be the G9 model already marketed in China. The sedan appears to be the P7, which has been available to order in Europe for some time.

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out exactly which models the Chinese manufacturer will debut on the European market. It is worth mentioning that, currently, Xpeng also markets the electric P5 sedan and the G3i SUV in Norway.

The Chinese manufacturer is preparing to expand the availability of its vehicles in Europe in order to offer customers an even wider range. The mission is not easy, as it will have major competitors such as Volkswagen, Volvo, BMW and Mercedes.

In addition to expanding the number of models for sale in Europe, the Chinese automaker is working to offer customers new delivery and assistance centers. The 1st new facility will open in Lørenskog, Norway, followed by Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands.
