Chinese authorities reported the discovery of an unidentified object in the east coast

The maritime services of the Chinese province of Shandong in the east of the country discovered an unidentified flying object near the coastal city of Qingdao (Shandong province). The authorities are going to bring down the object. This was reported by the Chinese newspaper Global Times on Twitter.

The Global Times reported that Qingdao’s Jimo Maritime Bureau sent a notice to local residents stating that “an unidentified flying object has been detected in the waters of Rizhao City.” They are preparing to shoot him down, so the fishermen were asked to follow safety rules. Details have not yet been announced.

At the end of January, a Chinese balloon was shot down in US airspace. The Pentagon believes that China used it for espionage. Chinese authorities claim that the balloon was used for meteorological purposes. On February 10, another balloon was shot down over Alaska, on February 12 – in northwestern Canada. Who owned these objects is not yet known.
