Why is this important?
The fact that China is now the largest car exporter has not only broad economic implications. The quality of Chinese cars is such that European manufacturers seem hopelessly behind.In the news: In the Wall Street Journal, journalist Greg Ip writes “that electric cars made in China have become formidable competitors for their Western counterparts”.
