China’s announcement to continue supporting Pakistan in the war against terrorism

Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed his condolences over the Peshawar tragedy and announced to continue to support Pakistan and increase cooperation for counter-terrorism.

According to the official news agency ‘APP’, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a condolence message to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on behalf of the Chinese government and people to the families of those who were martyred in the terrorist incident in Peshawar and condoled with the injured. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

He said that China will continue to fully support Pakistan in promoting the national action plan against terrorism, maintaining social stability and protecting the security of the people.

The President of China has further said in his message that he is ready to deepen anti-terrorism cooperation with Pakistan for the common protection of peace and security in the region and the world.

Apart from this, Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang also sent a condolence message to Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for the loss of life in the Peshawar terrorist attack.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has thanked the friendly countries for expressing their condolences and sympathy for the loss of precious lives in the Peshawar tragedy.

Shahbaz Sharif said that we deeply appreciate this show of solidarity in this difficult time.

Expressing his determination to end terrorism, he said that ‘with the support of our people, we will crush the terrorists and eliminate them from our land’.
