Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov arrived in Beijing on Monday to hold talks with China’s Defense Minister and other military leaders. He claimed during the meeting that the military cooperation between China and Russia plays an important role in maintaining global and regional stability.
Just before Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, President Vladimir Putin visited Beijing. Here he and Xi Jinping promised that they would enter into a partnership without borders.
As Russia and China recently marked 75 years of diplomatic ties, Xi said he was ready to expand cooperation between the two countries.
Moreover, in August, Chinese Premier Li Qiang visited Moscow and stated that China was ready to cooperate with Russia to strengthen practical work in all fields.
