Chinese Dongfeng revealed some specifications of its new car, which will be a strong competitor to the famous 408-class vehicles from Peugeot.
The leaked images of the car show that it is similar in some ways to its exterior design from the last 408 cars from Peugeot, especially in terms of the shape of the shock absorbers and headlights, but it differs from the last in the shape of the front of the radiator cap, as it got a distinctive cover made of fiber and the Dongfeng logo overlaps with the lighting units in a distinctive way. .
The car will come with a streamlined sedan chassis measuring 4 meters and 75 centimeters long, while its cockpit will have a sophisticated driving interface installed in the middle of a large horizontal touch screen, and its seats will also have heating and cooling systems.
The car will get an engine control system, remote lighting systems, a blind spot system to avoid accidents, a cruise control system during travel, light and rain sensors, distance sensors and front and rear cameras.
Several copies will be offered, most likely, a version powered by gasoline engines, and versions equipped with hybrid propulsion systems that include a 150-horsepower gasoline engine and an auxiliary electric motor, and will be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 53 kilowatts, sufficient to cover distances ranging between 300 and 430 km on a single charge.
