China has offered to mediate on Pakistan-Iran tension. In an interview given to private TV, China’s Consul General in Karachi, Yang Yudong, says that Pakistan-Iran differences can be resolved through dialogue.
Yang Yudong said that Pakistan-Iran relations can be resolved through peaceful means, asking both countries to exercise restraint and advance relations in accordance with the UN Charter.
The Consul General further said that relations should be developed according to international values, Pakistan and Iran can sit down and solve problems through dialogue.
He said that China-Pakistan-Iran is ready to play a constructive role to resolve differences.
