Wuxi, China (ots/PRNewswire) – The 2023 China International Intelligent Communication Forum, organized by China Media Group and the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu from September 7th to 9th.
The forum has taken place twice since 2021 and forms a high-profile platform for international exchange and cooperation in the field of intelligent communication. Under the theme “A New Journey towards Boundless Connectivity”, this year’s forum brought together former political dignitaries, representatives of international organizations, ambassadors to China as well as Chinese and foreign media representatives, experts, scientists and entrepreneurs. They exchanged ideas discuss the development trends of intelligent communication, the responsibility of the media in the age of intelligence, etc.
Participants in the forum included senior representatives of China Media Group and the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, officials of the People’s Government of Wuxi City, Lin Shangli, President of Renmin University of China, Matteo Renzi, former Prime Minister of Italy, Erik Solheim, former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Nations and President of the EU-Asia Centre, Shahbaz Khan, representative of the UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office for East Asia, and John Collins, academic at the University of Cambridge. They took part in the forum in person or via video link and gave speeches. During the forum, China Media Group introduced the “CMG Algorithm”.
Representatives of young people from home and abroad were invited to a round table to discuss new opportunities and challenges for the young generation in the age of intelligent media and seek solutions from a multicultural perspective.
Three sub-forums were organized on the topics of “Intelligent Technology”, “Intelligent Consumption” and “Intelligent Culture”, as well as activities such as “Global Livestream to Wuxi on the World Stage”, “Internet Star’s Trip to Wuxi” and “Ambassador Tour of Wuxi”. ” organized.
Wuxi, the host city, has long been known as the “shining pearl of Taihu Lake and prosperous land of Jiangnan Region.” With over 3,000 years of written records, Wuxi was one of the birthplaces of the Wu culture and became the cradle of Chinese industry and trade in the 20th century.
