China has planted its flag on the moon, the Chinese Space Center has also released pictures of it.
China sent a space mission to the moon to collect samples from the moon, which has once once more raised the Chinese flag on the lunar surface.
These images, released today by China’s National Space Administration, show the Chang’e 5 spacecraft flying the Chinese national flag, this time China sending a flag made of Jinyan cloth to the moon.
The images were taken by a panoramic camera mounted on the spacecraft, which returned Thursday following taking samples from the moon.
It should be noted that China’s Chang’e-Five probe mission was launched on November 24, and on December 1, the spacecraft landed on the Moon north of the Ocean of Storms.
The day before it finished collecting soil samples and rocks from the moon and flew back, Chang 5 collected the samples using two methods, the first of which was simple and the second one the robot. Drilled there with the help of his arms and then got the samples.
According to the report, the spacecraft collected samples from a depth of 2 km of the moon and sent the data to the experts sitting in the monitoring.
The Changfive mission is considered the most complex and challenging mission in Chinese space history, and is the world’s first mission to bring back samples from the Moon in the past forty years.
