Chinese companies are helping Russian President Vladimir Putin continue military operations against Ukraine by supplying Russia with goods for the military-industrial complex. This was stated during a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
“When Beijing, on the one hand, says it wants peace and an end to the conflict, and on the other, allows its companies to carry out actions that actually help Putin continue his aggression, one does not add up,” – said Blinken, quoted by the DW telegram channel* The main thing”.
China, according to Blinken, supplies Russia with 70% of machine tools and 90% of microelectronics, which are also used for the production of armored vehicles and missiles.
The Secretary of State emphasized that Washington does not intend to interfere in Russian-Chinese relations, but called such cooperation between the two countries a problem.
Wang Yi, in turn, said that the United States should “stop slandering and imposing sanctions on China” to avoid “inter-bloc confrontation.”
