China: A series of accidents on the highway, many people died | Life

On February 5, Chinese authorities said 16 people were killed and 66 others injured in the incident traffic accidents continuous online freeway in Hunan province, central China.

According to the local traffic police, the incident happened on the evening of February 4 (local time) when within 10 minutes, nearly 50 vehicles collided continuously.

Photos posted on the media showed burning trucks bearing the logos of delivery service companies, cars overturned and deformed, and a plume of black smoke.

More than 180 Lifeguards deployed to the site.

The injured were quickly taken to the hospital for treatment.

China’s Ministry of Emergency Management said on February 5 that it had requested an investigation to clarify the cause of the accident.
