Several weeks ago, Mega premiered its remake of El Señor de la Querencia, which stars Gabriel Cañas, María Gracia Omegna, and Nicolás Oyarzún. Everything indicates that the channel is already preparing for the next remake of Amores de Mercado.
While the project is still in pre-production, Bethia’s channel has reportedly already chosen the actor to portray the twins Pedro ‘Pelluco’ Solís and Rodolfo Ruttenmeyer.
According to Publimetro, this would be Pedro Campos, who is currently part of the show called Al sur del Corazón.
In the TVN soap opera, the role was played by Álvaro Rudolphy, gaining significant popularity during those years.
‘Pelluco’ Solís was a middle-class man, who worked as a waiter in the Mercado Central. Meanwhile, Rodolfo was the heir of a wealthy family from the upper class in Santiago.
Both were the sons of Maitén (Loreto Valenzuela in the original version), but had been separated at birth.
